(hd) A 45-year-old woman from Bünde went to a department store on Wasserbreite in Bünde at around 3:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon (31.07.2025) to do some shopping. When she went to pay for her goods at the checkout, she realized that her wallet had apparently been stolen. She had carried it in her handbag while shopping. In addition to cash, the purse contained several identity documents and debit cards. There are currently no clues to the perpetrator. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation. Witnesses who can provide information about the theft are asked to call 05221 / 888-0.
The police have issued the following prevention tips on pickpocketing:
